Dechen Yeshe Wangmo is a "lama" or dharma teacher in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism. Her dharma path began in 1978 with the Venerable Kalu Rinpoche and continues today with Lama Tharchin Rinpoche who authorized her to teach in 1992. Yeshe's passion lies not only in the philosophy and application of Vajrayana to contemporary life, but also in supporting others in their personal journeys. She is the founder and president of
Jnanasukha (Wisdom Bliss), a non-profit organization dedicated to the lineage of the female buddha Yeshe Tsogyal in the West. She is also the director of Lotus Gate Sanctuary on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
